The anti-magnetic timepiece movement has at least one display disc e.g. a date ring (6), which is formed from a material having a high magnetic permeability. This disc acts to screen the timepiece movement from surrounding magnetic fields. Pref. the timepiece movement has a date ring (6) positioned above the outside edge of it made from high magnetic permeability material and a central weekday indicator disc (7) also of high magnetic permeability material, which overlaps the inner edge of the date ring (6) to provide continuous screening for the timepiece movement.
