Fascia fixing end tile for gables - top overlaps adjacent tile; lower edge is stepped for overlapping

The end tile hooks over the tiles on the roof. There is a vertical return which hangs over the fascia board or wall. At the bottom of the vertical part of the tile there is a part which juts out. This part which can take several forms carries water away from the fascia or wall. The projecting part has a step in the mid point of its length (5) which has a height equal to the thickness of the tile (e). This step accommodates an overlapping tile. The vertical part of the tile has a slot (6) which receives the boss (7) of the adjoining tile. A screw through the boss with a waterproof washer completes the fixing.
