Waste reception system for separating solid particles from liquids, e.g. effluent from a hotel kitchen, provided with liquid feed and discharge pipes and characterised by at least one filter-retaining device as well as at least one removable filter, above or into which the effluent feed pipe opens. More especially the removable filter is surrounded by a holder with closed walls and a perforated base.
