An upper platform (2) carries two plates (3) onto which the feet are placed, arranged on either side of the upper platform median line, and hinged, around a horizontal axis (4) parallel to the median line, by an intermediate platform (5) on which the upper platform (2) is mounted to move in a direction normal to the median line, and also by a base on which the intermediate platform (5) is mounted to pivot around a vertical axis which in the rest position of the device passes through the upper platform (2) median line near to one of its ends corresponding to the front part of the device. The intermediate platform (5) is supported above the base whilst permitting it to pivot around the vertical axis, and also to return it to the rest position in which the intermediate and base median lines are in the same vertical plane. A proportional movement in the same sense, is transmitted to the upper platform when the intermediate platform is pivoted either way.
