Organic manure granulation - by drying, and compacting, granulating after rehydrating to 15-20 percent moisture

Manure is converted to granular compost by drying fresh manure to 5-10% moisture, adding water vapour or organic binder to final moisture of 15-20% and compacting by passing through granulating press. Prod. is easy to handle, distribute, breaks down easily; organic wastes can be sued as binder, avoiding pollution. Pref. initial drying is by air at 400 degrees C in rotating oven. Resinous wood debris can be added to manure.
