Carrier for travelling overhead crane - uses bolted assembly of extruded light metal profiles joined by web plates

The carrier is for a travelling overhead crane, using flanges made of extruded light metal profiles joined together by web plates fixed to an auxiliary carrier by spaced transverse carriers, the lower flange and carriers being connected by bracing straps. The upper flange is a T-beam with two ribs between which a self-supporting floor profile is located. The floor profile has a cross section which is open on its underside and the profile rests on the transverse carriers. The floor profile pref. consists of a row of ribbed, interlocking plates with vertical webs forming feet. Bolts replace the welded box structure which was difficult to assemble.
