Pre-paid access system - is able to perform credit cancellation of access ticket during use via magnet transducer heads

The pre-paid access system uses an access ticket, e.g. in the form of a key or a pin fixed to the end of a ski stick whick has the customer credit denoted by magnetic marking. When a service or goods are required, the ticket is inserted in a terminal unit which has magnetic read and write leads. The terminal unit reads the customer credit from the ticket and subtracts the value of the goods etc. from the outstanding credit and records the remaining credit on the ticket. The remaining credit is indicated to the customer via a visual display. The relative movement of the transducer heads and the magnetic markings is obtained by rotating the ticket or by rotation or translation of the head unit.
