The tinted or polarized sheet is fixed to the vehicle quarter light window in the line of vision to the exterior rear view mirror. This cuts down reflected glare at night from following vehicle headlamps. The sheet is fixed by adhesive strips or by a thin section (a) which is inserted between the glass and door frame. Alternatively the sheet may be fixed to the mirror itself.
