摘要
The system for building up a longitudinal prefabricated beam used a number of rectangular hollow blocks(1) formed in the first stage of prefabrication. Each block shoulder ribs enabling it to be spaced relative to a neighbouring block and have room to accommodate jointing members. A fan shaped covering may be formed by increasing the spacings progressively along the longitudinal edges and fitting reinforcing bars which gradually increase in span. The individual beam members are strong enough to be used for bridging applications where the ends of each beam rest on piers.
