Topical detoxifying plant extract - from quince seeds, used for treating eczema and allergic disorders

Detoxifying heteroside soln. contains as active component the translucent substance which surrounds the seed inside the kernel of the quince. The solutions solubilise insoluble substances which are responsible for certain skin disorders e.g. allergic conditions, esp. eczema. A topical lotion, for solubilising and detoxifying insoluble substances responsible for allergic conditions e.g. eczema, are prepared from heterosides extracted from material surrounding the seed of the quince.
