The plug-in hose coupling consists of a coupling (1) which includes a seal ring (11) and a non return valve (6, 7) The seal ring (11) which has a trapeze cross section is bonded to a support ring (9) located in a counter bore (27) at the plug-in end of the coupling body. The support ring is held in position by swaging a radial groove (14) into the housing sleeve. The coupling plug (2) which is connected to the hose (19) has a hollow central pin (16) inside a collar nut (20). When the plug is connected, the leading end of the pin (16) is pushed through the sal ring (11) until it lifts the valve ball (7) off its seat (8). The collar nut is then screwed over the coupling body to provide a firm union between the two components.
