Metabolite S11743A from Streptomyces mutabilis - useful as antimicrobial and cardiac stimulant

Metabolite S11743/A of formula (I) and its salts (esp. alkali(ne earth) and NH4 salts) are new: (I) inhibits certain microorganisms e.g. Gram positive bacteria and the layer fungi and also increases the contractile force of the myocardium and the coronary flow rate.
