Contacting moulded electrical modules with piezoelectric elements - has spring loaded contact elements repelling mould and contacting metallised surface

Device for making contact to electric components moulded in workpieces, is used on piezo electric drive elements for writing head of ink mosaic pen recorders. The modules are made with contact surfaces (2, 3) supporting the contact elements which are in the form of springs (7, 8). The spring force is large enough to repel the moulding material when pouring the moulding element. The contact elements are made in the form of spring loaded prongs. The drive elements consist of cylindrically shaped piezo ceramic tubes with the surface of the casing coated with a thin layer of silver. The silver is used as the control electrode.
