The joint is used to assembly a frame of metallic tubes or bars. The N tubes or bars converge into the same node of the frame and have their ends fixed to the joint which is positioned at the frames nodes. The joint has N screwed male or female projections which are respectively orientated towards the converging tubes or bars. The joint can have from two to six preferably tubular arms (EI). Some of which may be orientated in the same direction and having identical male or female threads, or they may be orientated in different directions, for example perpendicular to each other.
