The storage cylinders (2,3) are concentric and are enclosed by the insulation (1) to prevent loss of heat. The hot water from the solar panels is supplied to the cylinder (3) via down coming piping (5). The hot water leaves by the bottom end piping (6) to be supplied to the radiators, and then returned to the solar panels. Supply water, such as town water, enters the outer tank piping (7) leading to the cylinder (2). The water is solar-heated indirectly by contact with the cylinder (3) containing the closed circuit solar panel water. An electrical heater (4) is placed centrally in the cylinder in case of lack of sun. A thermometer (10) monitors the water temperature.
