The spray equipment is particularly for dry aerosols, and has a compressor whose output is connected to a solenoid valve controlled by a timer. The compressor is supplied with current via terminals at the timer output. The commodity to be sprayed is supplied from a constant-level vessel (5) connected to a reservoir (2). The aerosol is generated by a vapouriser bowl (6) connected to the vessel and closed at the top by a cone (7) ending in a discharge flue (8). The bottom (6a) of the bowl has a base (9) immersed in the commodity at constant level, and into the centre of this is screwed a casing (10), whose upper part (10c) widens above the base, so as to form a fixed-height Coanda jet. The incoming air passes vertically upwards through the lower end (10a) of the casing, and is blown tangentially to the widened part by the jet.
