Automatic synchroner for group of diesel alternators - uses two high precission frequency voltage convertors to pass signals into mixer to feed resulting error signal into motor regulator

The automatic synchronising method uses the frequency of the network whose voltage is available at the terminals of a voltage transformer (I). The frequency of the voltage at the secondary of the alternators transformer (I) is used to indicate the speed of the diesel alternator group. The two signals are introduced into two identical high precision frequency voltage convertors (21, 2) having low drift as a function of time. The signals emanating from each convertor are compared in a mixer (3). The resulting error signal is fed into an electrical speed regulator (4) which drives the motor regulating device.
