The game consists of propelling and catching a ball of means of a hand held launcher. This can be done in any direction, the ball being firmly held until released. The launcher comprises two rigid Y shaped frames, the top arms of each being joined together by a straight length of wire. These provide supports for a flexible sheet of plastic or fabric which forms a cradle. The uprights of the Y shaped frames come together as the handle, these being spring loaded and pivoting. When closed, the ball is held by the sides. Opening the sides sharply propels the ball.
