Combined pen and digital watch - displays time of day or time from start of writing

The combined pen and digital watch has a bottom part containing the writing instrument (1) and an upper part containing a battery (4), a quartz oscillator (5) and an integrated drive circuit (6) for a digital time display (7). The latter can be used to provide a normal time display or can be used to display the time since the start of writing. In the latter case the display is actuated by application of pressure to the writing instrument via a switch contact (10). The pen has a push-button at the top, which is used for adjusting the time display or for halting the display of the writing time.
