The artists palette has a flat base to which can be attached a box to hold the colours to be mixed, and a cover is fitted to prevent hardening of the colours due to contact with air. A pair of small feet enables the box to be fixed. A guide secured by small nails or screws cover three quarters of the box to locate tubes of paint. The flat surface has three holes for holding three cups for holding liquid, so that they will not spill. A support member can fold flat against the palette. There are also hooks for suspending articles by means of cords. The box carries a chain to assist the user to hold the palette at any required angle. The whole is made of flexible plastics material.
