Game enacting siege of medieval castle - has besieging players using contemporary weapons to take castle from besieged players in specified time

The game is played by several persons and enacts the siege of a medieval castle. The board has a model castle (1) on a rock (5) and complete with moat (4). The players are divided into besiegers and besieged. The game requires the castle to be taken in a specified time, decided by the casualties sustained by each side, or destroying the castles fortifications. Each army comprises figures representing soldiers, halberdiers, archers, etc. and use is made of scaling ladders, boiling oil, etc. A dice (3) is thrown to determine a soldiers injury and they are manoeuvred by pegging into holes in the board.
