1456623 Micronutrient composition TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP 12 May 1975 [2 Dec 1974] 19829/75 Heading C1B A micronutrient composition comprises (1) a non-phytotoxic hydrocarbon mineral oil having an API gravity of 27-35, viscosity at 100‹ F. of 60-104 Saybolt Universal seconds and B.Pt. of 600-775‹ F.; (2) an alkylaryl polyether alcohol emulsion stabilizer and (3) a water-soluble salt of Ca, Cu, Mo, Mg, Zn, Mn, or Fe. The composition preferably comprises 0À05-25% w./w. of salt, and 0À5-10% w./w. stabilizer, the balance being oil. The composition may be emulsified with water. The composition may be prepared by dispersing the constituents in water and boiling off the water in a climbing film evaporator. 0À5-20 gallons per acre of composition may be sprayed on the leaves, branches or bark of growing plants.
