1466721 Collapsible tubes; regulating discharge CLIN-MIDY 8 May 1974 [8 May 1973] 20276/74 Heading B8D and B8T A device for controlling the relative proportions of two pastes dispersed from a flexible tube (not shown), comprises a first member 2 fixedly screwed to the neck of the tube and having a tubular portion 1 extending into the tube to provide a central outlet passage for a first paste and an annular compartment for a second paste, and a second member 11 adjustably threaded on to the first member and having a collar 14, which is located between concentric cylindrical walls 9 and 10 of the first member and has an end 17 co-operating with a shoulder 18 on the wall 10 to adjustably regulate the second paste output on unscrewing of the second member. The shoulder may be of convex, concave, or conical form. The outer side of the collar is always in contact with the inner surface of the wall 9, and the collar end, in its closed down position, seats on the bottom of the channel defined between the walls 9 and 10 to close openings 8. An index stop 20 is provided on the first member and co-operates with the second member to limit rotation thereof. A closure cap 7 is provided. Fig. 2 shows a known construction.
