1472222 Finger ring K-H LEUPOLD 20 June 1974 [17 May 1974] 27509/74 Heading A3H [Also in Division A5] An acupuncture ring to be worn on a thumb for applying pressure to but not penetrating, the skin at the D point, consists of an annular plastics holder with a gap 2, tapering limbs 3 and opposite the gap a circular, oval or polygonal face 4 with a shallow recess 5 having a spike 8 in its centre, the rounded tip 7 of which extends beyond the level of the face 4. The spike may be formed integrally with the ring or may be separate, and made from a nobel metal, and incorporated with the ring during injection moulding thereof.
