In the examples, the compositions consist of mixtures of two compounds of the above formula and mixtures of one compound of the above formula and a Schiff's base derived from a specific p-alky or -alkoxy-benzaldehyde and a specific p-substituted-aniline. The compositions are useful in electro-optical display devices.
