1491016 Weather Seal H SUTCLIFFE & G W HOWARTH [trading as ELEMENTEX SILL CO] 26 Sept 1975 [12 Oct 1974 6 Nov 1974] 44505/74 and 47910/74 Heading E1J A weather seal assembly for doors comprises a metal or plastics strip 1 with an undercut groove 2 which retains a resilient sealing strip having a T-section head 7 and a blade 6, the forward face of the blade being at an angle of 38‹-45‹ to the base of the head 7. The retaining strip is fixed by screws 9 to the jamb B in the case of an inward opening door (Fig. 3 not shown) and to the door A' where it is outward opening.
