1521864 Feeding sheets to, and delivering sheets from a work station REINHARD MOHN OHG 31 Jan 1977 [30 Jan 1976] 03883/77 Heading B8R Sheets are fed through the nip between two coacting cylinders 7, 10 effective to simultaneously print both sides by means of a feed drum 4 comprising a number of friction wheels, air blast 18 urging the sheet against the drum, suction box 22 which holds the sheets away from the cylinders prior to the impression line, and air blast 26, after impression, which strips the sheets from one cylinder and urges it against the others. Conventional feed and delivery systems may be provided, but the delivery may include air cushion members 14 (also Fig. 6, not shown) to prevent smuging of the wet ink. In the embodiment shown, cylinders 7 and 10 are offset cylinders, co operating with plate cylinders 6 and 9.
