The steerable four-wheeled semi-trailer is partic. for use with a farm tractor as a damper, manure spreader etc. As the tractor (11) negotiates a curve, movement is transmitted via the chassis (1), cams (5), and steering arms (6) to the stub axles (9) on which the steering wheels are mounted. The trailer is in two parts movable in relation to each other, and has self-adjusting cams to allow steering to take place when negotiating very uneven ground. The two parts of the trailer are coupled to the tractor at separate points one behind the other, the lower part incorporating a bogie (4) on which the front wheels are mounted on a fixed axle (7), the rear ones steering.
