The call identifier and controller is for a centrally-controlled telephone exchange with subscribers in groups and subgroups. It keeps the wiring between subscriber circuits and central units as simple as possible and reduces the amount of work needed to extend the system to a minimum. - Each subscriber circuit (Tln) has an AND-gate (U) whose three inputs are connected to the output of an OR-gate (O) and to the outputs of two subgroup line amplifiers. Each AND-gate output can be switched to the output of any other AND-gate in that group (GGr) of subscribers - i.e. it can be switched to one of two buses. The buses are connected to the buses of other groups.
