Complex dwellings, comprising a number of H-shaped ground plan units, each comprising an intermediary piece (2) and two wings (1) arranged in rows, so that of each pair of adjoining units, one wing of the one unit lies in the extension of a wing of the other unit and connects to it. The intermediary pieces in the one row are stepped up in relation to those of the adjacent row. Each H-shaped unit comprises only one dwelling, and the row arrangement is made up of at least three rows, with at least one dwelling in each outermost row and at least two dwellings in each intermediary row. Thus each dwelling has a patio defined by the intermediary piece (2) and the two wing parts (1) of the dwelling in question, together with a closed part of the connecting wings of the adjacent dwellings.
