The circuit matches fail-safe logic circuits of the type described in DS 1933713 to dc coupled logic circuits. DC isolation is achieved with a transformer. - The secondary winding of the transformer (1) is connected via a rectifying chide (2) to the base of a transistor (4) acting as an invertor. The transistor has a resistor (3) from base to ground and another (5) from collector to supply. Dynamic signals are then converted into static signals.
