摘要
An inductive flow meter consists of an insulating tube placed between two conducting tubes carrying fluid of any electrical conductivity, traversed by an alternating magnetic field perpendicular to the fluid flow, and contg. measurement electrodes with surfaces shielded from the fluid. It is designed to enable maintenance of the transducer constant independent of the fluid characteristics despite variations in dielectric constant and conductivity, electrode contamination, and temp. changes. The measurement electrodes (ME) have associated, opposed auxiliary electrodes (HE) of different potentials controlled by the measurement electrode signal so as to maintain the sensitivity constant when the conductivity varies.
