The building comprises a three-dimensional lattice framework of bars and nodals pieces, and external surfacing panels, or similar, screwed to nodal pieces (46), which have bearing surfaces for their corners. Holes (65) are worked into the bearing surface (64), with their sidewalls providing stop faces for the sheathing surfaces of downward projecting sockets (69) fastened to the panels (67, 68). There is a thread (66) in the lower part of the holes, for engagement by screws (70), fitted in the panel corner areas, which pass through the sockets with lateral play allowed. Secure interlocking between panels and nodal pieces is ensured and the panels are fully integrated into a static entity, while the screws are released from shearing stresses, and subject only to tension loadings vertically to the panel plane.
