Photographic reproduction of intensity pattern - uses oscillograph tube intensity modulated by electron beam to period proportional to content of associated storage point

The method can be applied, for example, to a scintigram matrix which contains the surface distribution of radioactive isotopes in a human organ. An oscillograph tube is used which is intensity-modulated according to the intensity pattern. A camera photographs the screen of the oscillograph tube. The tube is intensity-modulated with an electron beam of constant basis intensity per spot for a period e.g. proportional to the content of the associated storage point. The screen can be intensity-modulated with iterated electron beam flashes of equal duration and intensity.
