The spray gun may be used with a variety of fluids esp. paints. It uses a piston pump with a piston driven by an AC oscillation magnet, within the cylinder. A container for the fluid to be sprayed may be connected to the gun, so as to project towards the grip. The rectangular container (11) has convex external surfaces (14). These are designed to form a grip recess, extending wholly or partly over its completed axial height on the side facing the grip (4). The curvature corresponds to the external shape of the grip and extends at a constant distance (x) to it.
