Open-end spinning rotor machine has spinning stations which are served by a mobile spinning starting unit. Each of the stations is provided with an auxiliary device arranged to receive the running yarn from the unit and transfer it to guides of the stations along a path which is continuously decreasing. Yarns are thus transferred continuously in a smooth manner without extending the servicing period of the starting unit.
