Metal ski edge sharpener - has holder with cutting edges and guide surfaces for cutting at predetermined angle

The sharpener is esp. for the steel edges of skis. It consists of a main body (1) with an upper handle (2), and a cutting plate (3) of hard metal, ceramic etc., on the lower side. The lower side also has guides (4, 5) for movement along the lower-and/or side surfaces of a ski, at a pre-determined cutting angle (2). Two cutting plates are positioned in the centre of the main body, with at least two cutting edges (7), for simultaneous cutting of the lower- and side surfaces of the steel edges. The cutting edges are retained in a holder (8) via a screw/clamp connection for replacement.
