The combustion engine carburettor has an annular fuel chamber (3) concentrically surrounding the suction duct, fuel supply means connecting with this duct upstream of its narrowest cross-section (13), a venturi tube (11) in the duct, and a rotationally symmetric throttle valve (9) shaped in relation to the tube wall and adjustable to vary the free flow passage. The fuel supply means comprise a number of orifices (20) spaced around the periphery of the duct wall. The annular chamber connects with each of the orifices via fuel ducts (21, 23) provided with jets (22, 24). The ducts (21) leading to the orifices (20) may be inclined in the direction of flow (39) through the venturi tube.
