Flexible seal for regenerative heat exchanger - has flexible bellows and wedge between stationary and rotating heat exchanger

The seal for the gas entry channel and air outlet channel in a regenerative heat exchanger, consists of a sealing bellows and a sealing profile. The profile is in contact with a rotating disc shaped heat storage element. This seal separates the two channels. The straight component (32) has at one end (36), at which act the air flow forces and the friction forces, a wedge (38). The latter is pushed by a spring against a circular piece (31) wedge (39). Hence one flank (46) of the ends (36) of the straight part (32) is in sealing contact on the opposite face of the circular part (31).
