The grater and parer for preparing raw food is manually operated and consists of a mteal or plastic housing with four lengthwise sides, each of which has a different type of grater and parer surface. When used horizontally, the housing has a drawer inserted in one end which collects the grated food. The drawer is secured by a retaining spring. When used vertically, the housing has the other end extended by a piece containing a funnel with press-lid. Exchangeable rotating cutter cylinders, turned by a crank handle to grate or pare food.
