The box end cover automatically unfolds under pressure, and is for boxes of hexagonal cross-section. It comprises a hexagonal flap (20), attached to the end of one of the sides, and of the same size as the box end. This flap is glued to an erection flap (21) opposite to it that as the two opposite sides (3, 6) to which they are attached are pulled further a part, the two flaps are pulled into a position at right angles to the other sides (2-7). The erection flap can be glued roughly to the centre of the main one, and can be the shape of half of it. The sides adjacent to the flaps (2, 4, 5, 7) can have supporting flaps glued to each other, to form an end support.
