Motor driven binding tool for automatically tensioning and joining binding means round an object such as a parcel ora box or rounda number of individualobjectssuch as bricks includes a transport wheel (16)for tensioning the binder. The transport wheel(16) is driven by a motor overa differential gear box pref. a planetary differential gear box. The outer gear (7) of the gear box is operationally connected to an adjustable torque limiting equipment (21, 22, 23,24) which when activated by the outer wheel (7) set in a rotating motion is operating either directly or over a transferring mechanism (17, 18, 34) a locking mechanism (35, 36). During the rotation of the outer wheel (7) the shaft (10) of the trans port wheel (16) is blocked by a looking equipment (26, 27, 28) controlled by the torque limitin equipment (21, 22, 23, 24).
