Claims mfr. of a holder for indentity cards, index cards, tickets and the like, comprising a loop of a plastics filament at whose 1 end the male part, and at whose other end the female part of a plug-and-socket closure are fastened. These pairs of closure parts are made in an injection-mould. Male and female portion are arranged side-by-side and a plastics strand or filament is continuously introduced. The resulting closure parts are then moved along by a distance corresponding to the intended length of loop plus the spacing of the injection-moulds. The plastics filament is then introduced into the next pair of closure parts, this cycle of operational steps being repeated as many times as there are pairs of closure parts in the mould(s). The lengths of plastics filaments between adjacent closure parts are finally severed. The resulting articles are used as tag holders e.g. for identification of articles of clothing accepted for cleaning; for fastening admission tickets e.g. for exhibitions, to be threaded through button holes; etc.
