Heat pump peak operating system - uses enlarged flue gas heat exchanger for burner or diesel motor driven designs

The burner operated heat pump with absorber and/or compressor is fitted with an additional and/or enlarged heat exchanger in the flue gas pipe. Then, for peak operation, and with increased burner operation sufficient output over the maximum heat pump loading can be obtained without auxiliary heating equipment. A heat pump with a diesel motor driven compressor and/or absorber can obtain a similar increased output with an additional and/or overload exhaust gas afterburner and an increased exhaust gas heat exchanger, with an improved quality of exhaust gas, especially on full motor load.
