The plant for eliminating foul smelling or polluting gases has a furnace for concentrated oil and water mixtures. The obnoxious waste gases from storage vessels and chemical reactors are fed into this furnace. The furnace plant is economical to operate and no filters are used and toxic waste gases e.g. from destructors for old tyres and plastics remnants are readily treated. The waste gases are fed directly into the combustion chamber or into the condenser. The destructor furnace can be built around the waste gas combustion plant. Combustion chambers of both furnace plants can also be built side by side.
