The package for bottles consists of a foldable cardboard blank. All parts apart from the gluing edge are provided with sidewalls closing flaps for forming front walls. The cover flap (1) is smaller than the bottom surface (3). Adjoining each side of the longitudinal walls (2, 4) and the bottom surface (3) is a through closing flap (7) in which is a bending line (10). At a point where the bending line (10) crosses the longitudinal bending line (8) is diagonal bending line (14). In the assembled and filled package, the parts (12) of the closing flaps (7) are double folded along the diagonal bending lines (14) and folded inwards on the longitudinal walls (2, 4).
