Wind deflector for vehicle cab - has variable angle flap set between two uprights and mounted by side flanges

The wind deflector has a large flap (1), with a profiled cross section, pivoted between two upright supports (2) set on the cab roof and pivoted about a transverse axis (3). The sides of the flap are fitted with flanges (4) which have angled slots (5) interacting with clamps in the uprights to secure the angular setting. The width of the flap is adjustable by having telescopic sub sections. It provides a universal fitting for a wide range of vehicles. The angle is adjusted to suit the height of the load and is feathered to the slipstream when no load is carried.
