Automatic stabilising circuit for DC voltages - has error signal amplifier with positive feedback with loop gain of one

The circuit operates on the series control circuit principle. The error signal amplifier may be a differential amplifier. It has an infinite gain owing to a positive feed back with loop gain of one. The amplifier has a terminal which assumes a negative resistance when the loop gain is greater than one and it is able to compensate a phase shift of 180 deg. This phase shift is caused by the error signal amplifier gain when the loop gain becomes greater than one.
