Locking system for folding table - has T-headed struts sliding in guides and spring loaded into retaining slots

With the folding table erected, the legs are retained in a vertical position by struts pivoted on the legs. Each strut has a T-shaped end, the cross piece of which slides inside a guide fixed on the underside of the table. The strut enters the guide through a longitudinal slot. To lock the strut, the cross-piece is pressed into recesses in the wedge-shaped parts of the guide and retained there by a leaf-spring. The strut is released by applying transverse pressure to remove the cross-piece from the slots.
