In this method, the oxygen-containing gas (5) is introduced into the wastewater or the broth (6) by injectors having diameters of the propellant jet nozzle (1) /= 20 mm. In the mixing space (2), the gas (5) is mixed with the propellant (6). The injectors are impinged by a gas flow rate of 5 to 100 eff.m3/h.
